Jamal Maxey
Jamal Maxey moved from London to Berlin 6 years ago to teach and work in marketing, events, and partnerships in the education and hospitality sectors. He founded and continues to lead his company, Pitch Lounge, a startup-investor event community (with 90% of their activity focused on the F&B sector) that provides exposure, support, and valuable connections for early-to-mature startups via networking, panel, and pitch events.
Almost a year ago, he studied in a VC Programme at the London Business School, strengthening his ability to coach startups on investor readiness, outreach campaigns, and investor pitching. Currently, he is a startup mentor and pitch coach with the Founder Institute & Techstars as well as an events organiser for FoodHack and Free From Food & Health Ingredients.
He lives between Germany, India, and the UK - and is open to new hybrid, remote, and transnational bridging work especially if supporting F&B NPD Innovation, Female Founders, and Youth Entrepreneurship (whether this means working with Universities, Startups, Investment companies, or on Events bringing these stakeholders together).
