What are you looking forward to at HRC 2023?
This will be the first time that Evoca have exhibited at such a large exhibition so we’re looking forward to being part of the buzz of a big live event. It will be a great opportunity for us to meet a wide range of visitors from all across the hospitality industry.
What can visitors expect to see from you?
Great coffee!! Evoca is home to many great coffee machine brands, all suited to the needs of the professional out of home market. Gaggia is of course our flagship brand – offering a complete range of fantastic espresso machines plus our premium bean to cup machine, La Radiosa. We’re also pleased to be able to bring our latest launches, La Solare – another bean to cup machine (making coffee made with fresh milk, naturally) and La Dea, a new compact traditional machine to the show. Both of these will be available in Spring 2023. We’ll also be showcasing our core range from two of our other brands: we’ll have the Necta Kalea Plus and Necta Krea Touch – fantastic bean to cup machines, Kalea Plus offers fresh milk drinks while Krea Touch offers the convenience of a powdered milk option. And finally, our Saeco brand Magic machines – small footprint machines ideally suited to locations requiring low capacity machine.
What are the top trends to watch out for in 2023?
We are witnessing a few interesting trends at the moment. The cost-of-living crisis is widely documented, but there is little evidence of consumers sacrificing their barista-made coffee. It does mean that coffee shops are investing wisely in their machinery, but one of the great advantages of the Gaggia range is the fact that it’s very competitively positioned, price-wise, compared with many other brands, without sacrificing performance or features. Secondly, staff shortages and a lack of trained baristas are leading to more demand for automatic machines, and with La Radiosa and La Solare, Gaggia machines have an important role to play in plugging the skills gap.
What made you sign up to exhibit at HRC 2023?
We’re one of the hospitality industry’s best kept secrets, so it’s time to change that and let key players in the sector know that we are able to meet the demands of every market sector.
What are your top tips for exhibiting?
Stamina – and comfy shoes! Seriously though, three day events can be draining, but if you’re well prepared, and determined to speak to as many people as possible, the rewards will speak for themselves.
