HRC shortlisted for prestigious event industry award
Hotel, Restaurant & Catering (HRC), the trade event for the hospitality and foodservice industry, has been shortlisted in the Association of Event Organisers (AEO) Excellence Awards, taking place on 16 June.
The 2023 edition of the event is a finalist in the ‘Best UK Trade Show between 4,001sqm - 8,000sqm’ category alongside trade events for industries including tech, engineering, health & safety and housing.
The AEO Excellence Awards were launched to represent the best that the events industry has to offer and showcase the amazing achievements from within the industry.
The illustrious event recognises and celebrates organisers’ achievements, standards of excellence from venues and service quality by suppliers and contractors.
This year the awards saw record entries and four new categories including Best DEI Initiative and Best Company Initiative – both of which HRC’s parent company Montgomery Group was shortlisted
Chris Skeith, CEO of the AEO, commented: “Huge congratulations to all those shortlisted, thank you to everyone who entered and to our amazing line up of judges who provide independence, insight and an external view. Thank you also to the AEO Team who work so hard to make this all happen. Good luck to the finalists and see you on 16 June.”
HRC Event Manager Ronda Annesley added: “We’re delighted to have been shortlisted for this award. It’s a testament to the incredible hard work of the entire team in bringing our 2023 edition to life and to our community of hospitality and foodservice professionals and quality suppliers for investing their time and efforts into making the show a success.”
HRC returns to ExCeL London on 25-27 March 2024 alongside IFE, International Food & Drink Event and IFE Manufacturing. Keep up to date with the latest news at hrc.co.uk.
