Delaware North partners with Otolo to focus on staff retention
Leading hospitality and foodservice provider Delaware North has partnered with Otolo, the global community focussed on inspiring, empowering and supporting hospitality professionals to deliver mentoring and coaching programmes to its staff.
Announcing their partnership at Delaware North’s annual conference, Marco Galer-Reick, Human Resources Director at Delaware North said, “Delaware North are committed to ensuring our team members receive the best learning and training opportunities to stand them in good sted for a long and successful career in hospitality.”
“Otolo’s six month mentoring and coaching programmes are a welcomed addition that provides our teams with the opportunity to connect with experienced professionals to help guide, nurture and develop their talents. Plus, Otolo’s soon to be released community app will allow us to keep our employees engaged and up-to-date with the latest training, news and career growth opportunities in the palm of their hands.”
Otolo’s Programme Director Kieron Bailey said, “We’re extremely excited to announce our partnership with Delaware North and believe our programmes and community app will truly make a difference to improving staff retention and most importantly help reduce the high numbers that are exiting hospitality every month. Delaware North’s continued commitment to staff training and development is clear and we look forward to working with them to build a more robust support platform to meet their employees needs and drive hospitality forward.”
Otolo’s digital mentoring programme for a sustainable hospitality industry is part funded by the European Social Fund and is now taking applications to be part of the scheme.
