Shanky’s Whip has added a new 350ml sized bottle to its Irish Whiskey Liqueur to its range – available now to independent retailers and grocery stores across Northern Ireland.  

The new format has been launched to support Shanky’s Whip’s expansion strategy and dedicated focus on the convenience sector and speciality retailers in the coming year. It is the ideal size and price point for impulse and on-the-go purchases amid the trend of at-home consumption of quality sipping drinks and cocktails. 

2024 is set to be a strong year for the brand as it continues to grow at pace. Shanky’s Whip Irish Whiskey Liqueur will be exhibiting at the upcoming IFEX show at the Belfast Titanic Exhibition Centre on 5th to 7th March, (stand J3) and is activating a heavy-weight campaign to encourage consumers to ‘Give it a Try’ in the run-up St. Patrick’s Day. Activity includes the launch of the first Shanky’s Whip TV advertising campaign this month with three catchy creatives that make the brand stand out from the crowd, as well as consumer sampling, out-of-home advertising and social media outreach. The ads go live this month on YouTube and Hulu and feature the brand’s comedic ostrich jockey, Shanky.  

It has also developed a range of branded in-store POS materials for retailers and a bespoke gift pack that include a 700ml bottle of Shanky’s Whip alongside four quality shot glasses etched with the Shanky’s Whip logo and tag line to drive the brand’s affiliation with St. Patrick’s Day.

Using a blend of Irish spirits and aged pot still whiskey, Shanky’s Whip uses the natural flavours of vanilla infused with caramel to create a dark and distinctive spirit that is creamy and smooth with buttery, vanilla notes and a sweet spice and butterscotch finish with long Irish whiskey notes.
