HRC 2025: Look out for the latest in cost-saving dishwashing from Meiko

Launching at HRC is the UPster XD extra-large undercounter dishwasher, which washes everything from delicate glassware to crockery, serving dishes, trays, reusable food delivery crates and baking trays. The door is extended and takes 600 x 400 mm Euro boxes.
"It gives big results but only has a small footprint while providing a range of washing solutions for bakeries, food retail, butcher's shops, hotels, restaurants, staff feeding and cafes," says Meiko UK MD Paul Anderson.
The BioMaster FLEX food waste recycling station is just
500 mm wide, making it ideal for any kitchen situation. The FLEX replaces floor
bins and cuts labour because there is no food waste to move around. FLEX uses homogenisation to process all typical food
waste plus frying oil, coffee grounds, dead flowers, and fats into a liquid
slurry. This is pumped to the BioTank, where it is collected and transported
for biogas, usually every 4-6 weeks.
FLEX provides the most sustainable, labour-efficient and futureproof food waste recycling solution for caterers,” says Paul Anderson.
Also new for HRC is the M-iClean PF-S slimline pot washer, which is only 775 mm wide and 898 mm deep. It takes up less than one square metre of floor space and has a wash chamber 830 mm high, which can hold everything a pot washer must, including chopping boards, crates, sheet pans, and kitchen utensils.
Meiko’s value hood dishwasher, the UPster H500 Activclean, also features optional built-in softening, reverse osmosis and heat recovery. Meiko’s ergonomic Automatic Hood for pass-through machines is also on display, along with the innovative bottle-washing system, which handles up to 16 bottles simultaneously!
